  • What's RoboSubs?

    RoboSubs and RoboSubs_bot is an automated service for speech-to-text transcription and translation of video and audio.

  • How does it work?

    RoboSubs extracts the audio of the media, processes it through an automatic speech recognition (ASR) system and gives you the results. Here are the steps to use it:

    1. Upload a video or audio file, or share a social media link
    2. Choose to get a transcript or a translation
    3. Get your files
      • A .txt file for the transcription / translation
      • A .srt and .vtt subtitle files for you to load into your favorite media player
    4. For videos you will have the option to burn the subtitles created (or your own) into the video
    5. Download and share

  • What languages are supported for transcription?

    For speech recognition and transcription:
